The all-new Mud Terrain T/A KM3 Tires from BFGoodrich is one of the next-gen mud terrain tires out in the market. It is the fifth generation KM tire from BFGoodrich and it surpasses all its predecessors with improved traction, climbing, and ruggedness when driving on dirt, mud and/or rock. The massive tread blocks and terrain-attack tread structure give the tires a powerful grip from any direction of approach and an additional 5% traction in mud and loose soil. They are also fitted with Mud-Phobic Bars that lets go of compacted mud for sustained traction. The advanced Krawl-TEK compound improves the KM3's grip on rock and other slippery surfaces, with up to 8% better rock traction.

The linear flex zones on the tread enables the tire adjust and grab onto obstacles in aired-down driving, giving your vehicle the ability to overcome almost any obstacle. The race-proven advancements, The CoreGard Max Technology, and The Traction-Armor Sculpture increases the KM3's toughness by about 27%. This helps guard the tire against sharp objects and prevents the sidewall from splitting. The Mud Terrain T/A KM3 Tires from BFGoodrich comes with a standard limited warranty from the manufacturer. This Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship for the full life of the actual useable tread or for the first six years from the date it was purchased, whichever takes place first.

Features:

  • Terrain-Attack Tread Design. Larger tread blocks provide improved mud traction.
  • Krawl-TEK Compound. Improved grip on rock and slippery surfaces for excellent adaptability.
  • CoreGard Technology. Increased sidewall toughness for long-lasting durability.

The first tire factory in North America was founded in 1870 in Akron, Ohio by Dr. Benjamin Franklin Goodrich. BFGoodrich was the name given to this company and it was built to push the boundaries of performance even further. When BFGoodrich was just starting out, performance was already a part of the company's DNA. The son of founder Benjamin Franklin, Charles Cross Goodrich was responsible for setting up the first Tire Research Center in the United States, placing the company way ahead of the competition. In 1903, BF Goodrich was the tire used on the Model A Ford which was successful in an East to West crossing of the North American Continent.

BFGoodrich continued with its quest to provide the world with the best tires. They went on to innovate and produce better tires and developed the BFGoodrich Radial All-Terrain T/A that swept both the BAJA 500 and BAJA 1000. It did not stop there because BFGoodrich also became a part of the "race to space" when it fitted the Colombia Space Shuttle with BFGoodrich tires.

The Company continues with its unblemished track record in providing the market with world-class tires. From the first tubeless tires, the first radial tires also know as the Lifesaver, the first run-flat tires, the world's first all-terrain tires to the first 24 inch 4x4 tires, BFGoodrich has shown the world that it is truly the first in the tire making industry. It has proven its place as the "kingpin" in the tire industry by enjoying success with 28 overall victories at the Baja California Competitions and 13 times winner of the Paris-Dakar Rally.

Up to the present BFGoodrich still continues in providing its loyal customers with tires that are innovative, race winning and can be used even in off-road competitions. BFGoodrich Tires still carries that same DNA that provided the world with the best tires in its genes and will continue to do so in the future. When you are ready to get serious, go for BFGoodrich.
