Competitions Cams Inc., commonly known as COMP Cams, is a world-leading aftermarket automotive parts manufacturer. COMP Cams was founded in 1976 and then incorporated in 1977. COMP Cams' headquarters is established in Memphis Tennessee and they also have five manufacturing locations spread across the United States. COMP Cams began building a name for itself by selling valve train products via satellite distribution stores. Over the years, COMP Cams has acquired several companies that manufacture transmissions, electronic fuel injection, and nitrous oxide. As of today, COMP Cams comprises a total of 13 companies with hundreds of employees. The company is a major mover in the automobile industry, developing superior and state-of-the-art techniques and methodologies that have become a standard in various competitions such as NASCAR.
