Hotchkis initially produced suspension systems that drastically improved the handling and cornering abilities of GM, Mopar, and Ford muscle cars even at extreme race speeds. The company's reputation in the performance racing market grew because they consistently produced cutting edge suspension systems made from high-quality materials that are engineered to perform and designed to be long-lasting. Even though Hotchkis started with vintage American muscle cars, the success of the company spilled over to other vehicles and they started producing custom suspension solutions for SUVs, convertibles, pickup trucks, and even station wagons. With over 40 years of experience under their belt, John Hotchkis and the entire Hotchkis Sport Suspension team has fitted many of the fastest street cars in the country with precision suspension systems. Many professional racing teams rely on Hotchkis products to give them a winning advantage. In 2013, Hotchkis opened a second facility in North Carolina which allows them to perform in-house R&D and test different products on multiple vehicle types and models.
