The Old Man Emu Extra Leaf is designed with an off-roader in mind. It is tapered with a diamond cut to reduce stress at the leaf ends and distribute the load evenly. Made from high-quality metal that is shot-peened to increase density and further decrease stress. The center has a flat area where the axle can be safely mounted. Upon bending, the Old Man Emu Leaf undergoes a scragging process to ensure the spring retains its bent shape and does not sag over time.

Each set comes with two units of Old Man Emu Leaf that are coated with graphite to reduce friction between each leaf. It also includes regreasable nylon interleaf liners and all the required fasteners for an easy install.
