American Force Wheels began operations in 1995 as a local Miami wheel manufacturer. Owned by Ray Shadravan, it started as a business which builds customer wheels for small import and domestic vehicles situated in the South Florida region. Shadravan's main interest in sports vehicles did not stop him from envisioning something bigger.

In 2003, Shadravan ventured into truck wheels by creating 3/4-ton and 1-ton truck conversions to showcase the wheel design. He hired Robert Martell as the General Manager who helped in expanding the business.
