Edelbrock 8849 - Victor Series Mechanical Water Pumps
Edelbrock Victor Series Mechanical Water Pumps are high-volume water pumps specially designed for equal coolant distribution and maximized flow in street cars, race cars, tow vehicles, and motor homes. These pumps are made from aluminum and have CNC-machined housings with special one-way internal passages which allow for better coolant flow at high velocities, even at low engine speeds. The CNC-machined, cast iron impellers are bigger than normal impellers and have curved vanes for greater flow with less cavitation. The pumps also feature heavy-duty roller bearing assemblies which will withstand higher torsional loads, billet steel hubs, leak proof seals, and gaskets. Most of these pumps are available in a variety of natural cast, polished finishes, or EnduraShine.
