Tein Taper Coil Springs are especially designed for pick up trucks and vans whose upper mounts cannot be changed due to some legal restrictions. This type of spring does not require the use of upper springs seat, making it possible to achieve low-cost springs that provide adequate bump strokes. Another great feature of these springs is that they are able to eliminate damage to the upper mounts and get rid of other jarring noise by retaining the same force input positions of OEM products. Compared to straight type with the same coefficient and length, spring's stroke can be better maintained with these tapered springs.

Tein Tapered Coil Springs have a bottom diameter that is I.D.70mm, with two types of top diameters: I.D.90mm and I.D.100mm respectively. They are standardized springs designed and engineered to be compatible with original upper mounts for original wishbone and multi-link suspension system.
