Product Info

Laredo HD/H Tire is a truck tire and Uniroyal's answer to the need for a durable commercial tire for daily driving to jobsites. The tire is made with 2-ply polyester carcass that absorbs impacts and can take on heavy loads this result to having a smooth ride. They are all season and the lateral sipes and grooves keep traction strong in the rain and light snow. The tire comes with DuraShield technology which is Uniroyal's signature construction, it includes insulating belt edge strips, a heavy gauge inner liner, and pyramidal steel belts. These parts help the Laredo HD/H Tire absorb impact, run cooler, extend tire life and reduce stress.

Uniroyal is one of the top tire brand names in the industry. The TrU-Form technology makes the tire very durable by giving the tread a uniform ground contact hence an even wear over the tire surface. The tire comes with Uniroyal's standard limited warranty. This Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship for the full life of the actual useable tread or for the first six years from the date it was purchased, whichever takes place first. They also carry an additional 80,000 mile limited warranty for both tread wear and mileage.

  • Heavy-Duty DuraShield Construction. Protect against puncture and impact.
  • Two Polyester Build. Improves impact protection and load capacity.
  • Lateral Grooves With Innovative Tread Design. Excellent traction, reliable, quiet, and long-lasting performance in any season.

Uniroyal was founded as the U.S. Rubber Company in 1892 but the company was first established in 1868 with a veteran Belgian Artillery officer, Oscar Englebert who had a fascination for the water-resistant rubber. The soaring demand for rubber products caused a boom in business and Oscar took advantage.

Under Oscar Englebert Junior's leadership, the business grew and he started experimenting with tires for bicycles and horse-drawn vehicles at first, later manufacturing car tires. It became the first tire company in Benelux and one of the first in the entire European Continent. Uniroyal quickly added motor racing tires to the selection of tires that they produce and became the first tire to ever last the 24-hour race without the need for changing at Le Mans.

Uniroyal developed a zigzag tread pattern that helped in preventing skidding. This type of tread pattern became so popular that by 1914 production had increased fourfold. Uniroyal developed the rain tire and made use of the water deflecting characteristics of the V-shaped tread, it was also the first to use biomimicry to develop the Shark Skin Technology. The company have also been recognised for their different tire designs and have bagged the prestigious Red Dot Design Award.

For more than 125 years Uniroyal has continued to produce tires that are top-rated and high-quality and will go on producing more innovative, high-quality tires. For as long as there are vehicles that need tires, Uniroyal will be there rolling the world into the future.
