When it comes to unleashing your vehicle’s true power potential, Weiand’s cutting edge engine technology is second to none. From superchargers and intake manifolds to water pumps and engine components, Weiand produces everything you need to make power through performance replacements. Because more power is created with more air, Weiand has focused on developing dyno-proven cooling manifolds and superchargers guaranteeing maximum air and fuel delivery.

Phil Weiand invented the world’s first aluminum intake manifold back in 1937. His company launched the first “tri-power” and four 2-barrel manifolds in 1949, followed by the legendary “drag Star” series of “log” manifolds. In 1965 Weiand Automotive Industries introduced the first Hi-Ram Manifold featuring the patented D-port technology.

In 1972, Weiand’s out-of-the-box thinking lead to the introduction of the legendary "X-terminator" single plane manifolds. A year later, the company launched its first high performance aluminum water pumps, followed by the “X-Celerator” single plane intake and the famous “Team G” 360º racing manifold in 1978. The “Action” lineup of high-performance manifolds was introduced in 1980.

Throughout his entire life, Phil Weiand was guided by his ideal for creating the most innovative intake manifold tech the automotive industry ever saw. After his passing in 1978, it was his life, Joan, that ran Weiand Automotive until 1998. Under her management the company continued to develop rapidly and in 1990 became the first OE supplier of superchargers to Mercury Performance Marine.

Weiand “Stealth” series of high performance dual plane manifolds was introduced in the early 1990’s. In 2002, Weiland launched yet another masterpiece in intake technology: the first aluminum LS-1 intake manifold. Soon after that, the company started using Computational Fluid Dynamics in manifold design, achieving maximum air/fuel delivery in its newest Warrior series.

A true pioneer in intake, supercharger, and water pumps, today Weiand develops some of the most advanced cooling technology designed for street and race vehicles. Phil Weiand’s legacy is seen in each and every manifold, air scoop, and accessory the brand offers to its demanding customers. A legacy built on Phil Weiand’s pursuit of innovation, discovery, and new horizons in performance.
