B&M Z-Gate Shifters work exactly like all expensive gate-type racing shifters, and are perfect for street and mild competition applications. The shifters include a NHRA/IHRA-accepted reverse lockout, a neutral safety switch, a backup light switch, and a universal plastic console. Their unique and patented "Z" shaped construction will prevent the possibility of overshifting and missing a gear.
