ARP Cylinder Head Stud Kits are heat-treated prior to thread rolling and machining and are rated at a whopping 200,000 psi for the 8740 material and 220,000 psi for ARP2000. They are available with 12-point nuts, and come packaged with hardened parallel washers for an even load distribution and accurate torque readings.

Automotive Racing Product was founded by racing enthusiast Gary Holzapfel in 1968. He saw many of his car enthusiast friends' common problems were broken engines caused by fastener failure. During their time, there were no available stubs and bolts commercially.
