The controllers are able to vary fan speed from 60% to 100% based on their readings of the engine cooling needs. They are available with a built-in 5 second delay which will reduce charging spikes at start-up, and a built-in 30 second delay after shut down if additional cooling is required. The manual switch allows the electric fan to be turned off through water crossings.
