While this turbocharger may have the appearance of just any stock part, it is much more than what it appears to be. The Screamer turbocharger comes in Stage 1 and Stage 2 with changes made in the components as well as in the performance. The turbocharger features a 10-blade turbine wheel. The longer vanes and the larger exducer/inducer size reflect the overall bigger construction of the part in general. The billet compressor wheels and the unique turbine shape give an added airflow, an added turbine flow and a reduction in the backpressure to the turbocharger. The properties are more efficient in the Screamer than in the competing turbochargers. The compressor housing comes with an anti-surge design which is more efficient than the ones found in the rivaling and competing turbochargers. The Stage 1 variant supports up to 425 horsepower and is balanced using the VSR high-speed machine. The best thing about the Screamer turbocharger is that even if you are using it with stock injectors, you can still get some awesome performance out of it. That being said, having better or upgraded injectors is not a prerequisite for the installation of the turbocharger.
