These rotors also come with drilled holes and slots that help increased pad bite and ventilation to keep temperatures down, creating an escape route for gases, dust, and debris to prevent brake degradation due to material gunking up on the rotors. The slots also help clean and de-glaze the pad surface to promote an optimal pad coefficient of friction which translates to consistent performance.
