Tein has created another unmatched innovation yet again with EDFC Active Pro Control, an upgraded version of the EDFC Active, which is designed to automatically adjust the damping force based on the changes on speed and longitudinal G-Force. Being the higher version, the EDFC Pro Active offers more advanced and useful functions for passionate drivers.

Besides sensing speed and front and back G-force changes, the EDFC Pro Active is now programmed to also recognize cornering (lateral) G-Force. Another amazing new feature is that the 4 shock absorbers are individually adjusted, allowing for a more precise fine-tuning of damping force suitable for a particular road layout and condition. Unlike the EDFC Pro, the EDFC Active Pro is not fully reliant on GPS because it can still adjust damping force based on the vehicle's speed signal data coming from the external input port. (Getting speed signal may not be possible with some models of vehicles. As such, the optional GPS Kit is necessary for speed-sensitive adjustment.) In addition, this latest version of EDFC, despite its automatic features, still allows users to have more control over their car and make their own adjustments independent of G-Force and speed changes, which is why it's offered with two external input ports to accommodate their needs.
